The Craft

The moments I teach.

These are the small, practical moves that change a photograph: focus stacking, composition, and the light from sunrise to dusk. I keep it plain and show students the real thing in the field. Each one links to the full guide in Field Notes.

From raw to finished

Processing is part of the craft.

A single exposure, taken from straight-out-of-camera to finished, faithfully, nothing added that wasn’t there. Drag to see the difference a careful edit makes.
